This is 100% Lapland

No fake fur off a factory line – this is a real piece of Lapland, the same coat the reindeer themselves wear when the weather turns properly miserable. Every hide is one of a kind: its own colour, its own pattern, its own story, grown rather than manufactured. You're not buying a piece of furniture, you're bringing a piece of wilderness home.

The PORO Hide's your best mate when…

You want to give your favourite spot by the fire or campfire that certain extra something.
You don't want fake fur from the furniture store, but a real piece of the wilderness.
You know that the best decor comes with a story – not just a product number.

What this hide has in common with your grandpa…

Both lose a few hairs over time – on a genuine reindeer hide that's just as normal as on grandpa, and not grounds for a complaint. Grown natural material, not factory output, gives it character. The only real complaint here is yesterday's coffee. Grandpa, we'll leave to grandma.

Genuine Natural Material

Warmer than it looks.

Reindeer hair is naturally hollow – that's the trick that lets the animals survive -40°C in Lapland. That exact same insulation is now on your chair, your floor, or the bench by the fire, instead of out on the tundra.

Natural Insulation

At home everywhere, overdressed nowhere.

On the sofa, over the back of a chair, as a seat pad on a freezing bench, or as a sleeping mat out at camp – the PORO Hide never looks out of place. Indoors it's decor with character, outdoors it's serious cold protection from below.

Genuinely Versatile

Because we live where the reindeer live.

We're not sitting in an office imagining Lapland – we live right in the middle of it, way above the Arctic Circle. Reindeer are as much a part of daily life here as the snow. Whether this hide comes from Finland, Sweden, or Norway: Lapland doesn't recognise borders.

Genuinely from Lapland
