Official warning: triggers envy round the campfire.
Why we didn't just name this jacket after the wolf…
...even though it definitely would've looked better on the poster. “Sakaali” is Finnish for jackal — and that's no accident. The wolf gets the admiration, the jackal gets the dinner. It's the one out in any weather, adapting to everything, always with a pocket full of spoils somewhere. That's exactly how we built this jacket: not a specialist for one perfect day, but an all-rounder for the 200 days in between where you head out anyway.
The SAKAALI's your best mate when…
You want a softshell that doesn't throw in the towel the moment it turns cool and changeable.
You want your hands just as warm sitting down as they are on the move.
You'd rather roll in “muted” colours without looking like a walking armoury on two legs.
